I am a passionate and strong writer specializing in lifestyle topics. Being a journalist is what I love to do, and I absolutely cannot imagine doing anything else.
I believe all my previous experience led me to be the girl I am today. Naturally inquisitive and always curious, I started out in the Public Relations field. I quickly realized that I wanted to be on the media side of things, and after pursuing another Master's degree, this time in Journalism, I landed a highly competitive internship at Time Out magazine. From then on, I never looked back!
Even though my career path has taken a detour from time to time, I am still laser-focused on achieving my goal of becoming a top lifestyle journalist. All of those little detours? Well, they have all given me invaluable skills & insight, and shaped me to be the Crystal Long that I am today.
I believe in proper grammar, pet ownership (especially dogs!), and enjoying a good meal with a glass of wine.
